About the event
Join us for a professional development session designed to strengthen family engagement in your program. Set at the beautiful Living Coast Discovery Center, we'll dive into practical ideas and applications based on the NAEYC's 5 R's of family engagement: Respect, Responsiveness, Relationships, Relevance, and Reciprocity.
This event isn't just a learning opportunity; it’s a chance to connect with fellow early childhood professionals and explore a unique part of San Diego. We'll be joined by a panel of experts, including Julia Capper, an early childhood special educator; Ebony Taylor, who runs a family childcare program; and Charles Wilson, a family engagement coordinator at Head Start. Both Julia and Ebony are also on the board of the San Diego Imperial Chapter CAAEYC.
